Melissa Piercell graduated from The University of Windsor with an honours degree in Neuroscience. It was here that she developed her love for holistic wellness and decided to further her education by completing the four-year Naturopathic Doctor program at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. To achieve the Naturopathic Doctor title, Melissa passed two sets of licensing exams as well as The Ontario Naturopathic Board Exams.
Today, Melissa strives to encourage her patients to take an active role in their health in order to enjoy a balanced lifestyle. The services that she provides for her patients include Nutritional Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, Physical Medicine, Lifestyle Counseling, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Reiki and Bowen Therapy. Melissa Piercell practices in an eclectic way, using all of her training tools to provide the best care for her patients, young and old.
Melissa has a special interest in motivating her patients to improve their lifestyle, by making changes that are long-term and realistic. As an avid runner herself, she stresses the importance of remaining well nourished and active. Treatment areas of special interest include anxiety, migraine headaches, diabetes, obesity, menopause and skin disorders.
