2010 will be my 7th year practicing Massage Therapy and a total of 10 years working with the human body through schooling and applied treatments. My philosophy has always been to treat my clients as I would like to be treated or one of my own family members. It is of great importance to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit when it comes to health.
I embarked on becoming a Personal Trainer, and have been for the past 3 years, to learn more about my client’s activities and training methods. I have at this point realized that balance is key when it comes to the keeping the body healthy and strong. With the combination of both aspects of Massage Therapy and Training I am able to decrease the tension that the body accumulates through stress (physical, mental and emotional) and have strength to deal with stress also. Despite this experience there is still a lot to learn and am continuously furthering my studies in wellness industry. The next step for me is to study Acupuncture and learn more about how we fuel our body.
On a personal note I believe in living life through experience for this is the best way we are able to grow. So far I have trained in Thai Boxing, shot a winning basket, driven down the coast of California, ran a full marathon, and the list just keeps on going each year. Making the most out of life is important for these are the things will allow us to live a little more. Stay in the moment.
